Subject: Does the possibility exist that a mortgage could still be taken out on a house in another state with out it being listed in our county or state?
Question: Good day, I am thinking about getting another title search done but one question. based on the lien and mortgage search you accomplish does the possibility exist that a mortgage could still be taken out on a house, say in another state with out it being listed in our county or state? If so could you do a more detailed check on a property? Cost?
Answer: Dennis- While the mortgage information listed in the property report should be accurate and include mortgages from any state in the country, you may order a lien report for additional details. Here is the link: https://www.ustitlerecords.com/full-property-lien-report/.
If you need a copy of a particular recorded document within the lien report, you may use the document image feature to obtain that document. Here is the link: https://www.ustitlerecords.com/doc-image-copy-of-deed/.
