Subject: Does the possibility exist that a mortgage could still be taken out on a house in another state with out it being listed in our county or state?

Question:  Good day, I am thinking about getting another title search done but one question.  based on the lien and mortgage search you accomplish does the possibility exist that a mortgage could still be taken out on a house, say in another state with out it being listed in our county or state?  If so could you do a more detailed check on a property? Cost?
